If you are moving outside the Telstra exchange boundary then you may need to arrange a number redirection either temporarily until they can be Ported to another carrier for delivery to your new site or semi-permanently until you feel that your advertising has ensured your customers know you have had a number change.
Number Redirection offers a choice of three options to suit your needs:
- Announcement plus Redirection – A recorded announcement tells the caller the new number and then the call is automatically diverted from the old number to the new number.
- Redirection only – Calls are automatically diverted from the old number to the new number

Number Redirection offers 2 package types:
1. Pre-paid fixed term
- Pre-paid for a fixed term of 3, 6 or 12 months after which the service is automatically cancelled
- Customer is charged a single once-off fee at the beginning of the term
- Does not support modification to Destination Number
- Not entitled to rebate if redirection cancelled earlier than term of package
- Must be preselected to Telstra (if usage charges apply).
2. Standard monthly package
- Customer is charged nil connection fee with an ongoing rental charge
- Supports modification to Destination Number
- Only package available for Indial services.

Indial Service Pricing
Standard monthly package rental
$109.95 per month post paid, for each number block. These have to be sent to a single destination number. They cannot be mapped 1:1 to a new Indial range.
