BackUPS Pro

BackUPS Pro offers Line-Interactive topology, designed for high performance computer and electronics protection and has the following features:

• Boost and Trim Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) gives higher application availability by correcting low and high voltage conditions without using the battery.
• Unattended shutdown ensures that files are saved and the Operating System is properly shutdown in the event of a sustained power outage.
• Ethernet protection shields hardware from damage
• Additional Surge Protected Outlets for devices that don’t need battery backup
• Automatic Self Test  Biweekly testing of all internal components, including the battery, ensures your unit is ready when you need it.
• Intelligent battery management  Maximizes battery performance, life, and reliability through intelligent, precision charging.
• Audible alarms proactively notifies you of changing UPS and utility power conditions.
• Easy Overload Recovery via a push-button circuit breaker instead of a standard fuse, eliminates the need to return the unit to the factory for service.
• Adjustable voltage sensitivity provides the ability to adapt the UPS for optimal performance in specific power environments or generator applications.
• Adjustable voltage-transfer points maximises useful battery life by widening the input voltage window or tightening the output voltage regulation.

SmartUPS 

APC SmartUPS offers Line-Interactive topology. Ideal UPS for servers, point-of-sale, routers, switches, hubs and other network devices and has the following features:

• Boost and Trim Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) gives higher application availability by correcting low and high voltage conditions without using the battery (not available on all models).
• Intelligent battery management maximizes battery performance, life, and reliability through intelligent, precision charging.
• Power conditioning protects connected loads from surges, spikes, lightning, and other power disturbances.
• Temperature-compensated battery charging prolongs battery life by regulating the charge voltage according to battery temperature.
• Automatic restart of loads after UPS shutdown automatically starts up the connected equipment upon the return of utility power.
• Automatic self-test periodically self-tests to ensure early detection of a battery that needs to be replaced.
• Disconnected battery notification warns when a battery is not available to provide backup power.
• Network management provides remote management of the UPS over the network.

SmartUPS Online offers double-conversion topology, on-line power protection with scalable runtime and has the following features:

• Automatic internal bypass supplies utility power to the connected loads in the event of a UPS overload condition or fault.

• Intelligent battery management maximises battery performance, life, and reliability through intelligent, precision charging.
