Another new addition to the 2N range is the IP Base intercom.
The 2N IP Base is a compact IP intercom designed for a simple and quick surface-mount installation. You choose whether to deploy with 1 or 2 buttons and provides high quality audio and video with a high definition camera (no infrared backlighting). It can be fitted with an RFID card reader for either 125kHz or 13.56MHz cards. A tamper switch detects unauthorised intrusions. Other capabilities include a input contact with passive or active mode, a single set of normally open or normally closed switch contacts to activate a magnetic door strike. The audio output is 78dB.
The 2N IP Base is fully compatible with other devices and technologies in the 2N range such as the Indoor Touch panel, Mobile Video so you can answer your door using your mobile from anywhere in the world, Access Commander to manage all your IP intercoms and access units. 2N IP Eye to view the live camera feed on your desktop PC and Network Scanner to easily find 2N IP intercoms and access control units on the network. AN open API allows easy integration into home automation systems.
The 2N IP Base is rated to IP65 moisture and dust protection and is available in a black surface mount version only.
