Under utilised features of the Avaya BCM: Feature 74 Call Park

One of the most useful features of the Business Communication Manager is the ability to Park calls in a non-exclusive hold which means the call is not associated with a particular handset.

This means the call can be picked up from any handset simply by dialing the code shown on the phone when the call is parked. Calls can be parked and retrieved as often as required. Up to 25 calls can be parked per BCM.

Calls can be parked and retrieved from analogue phones too but calls parked will always go into orbit 25.
