Epygi simplifies the Quadro IP PBX range

15 Jul 2010 11:44 PM -

Epygi have announced that with the availability of the Quadro M26x, M26xi and M12Li models, the older Quadro 4x and 16X will be discontinued although the 4xi and 16xi will continue for the time being.

I had the pleasure to meet and talk with Warren Sonnen, Epygi's Technical Manager and Marketing Director, at the CeBIT exhibition in Sydney in May 2010 and he outlined the future direction for the products which included the elimination of the older models as newer models came on stream and also due to certain components reaching End of Life.

The M26 range has 26 FXS ports for businesses which have a lot of analogue devices. This may suit a medium sized motel with full billing capabilities being provided by PhoneControl software. The M26x supports analogue lines while the M26xi supports ISDN2 lines.

The M12Li has 2 FXS ports for fax and EFTPOS or analogue cordless phones and ports for ISDN2 lines.

Epygi Quadro IP PBX's along with Snom, Aastra and Yealink phones are available from ICS Technologies.
