Additional QNAP NAS models

QNAP have recently released the TS-x79 series of Network Attached Storage devices. as follows:

  1. TS-879 Pro - 8 x 2.5", 3.5" or SSD drives for a total capacity of 24TB
  2. TS-1079 Pro - 10 x 2.5", 3.5" or SSD drives for a total capacity of 30TB
  3. TS-879U-RP - 8 x 2.5", 3.5" or SSD drives for a total capacity of 24TB in a 2U rackmount
  4. TS-1279U-RP - 12 x 2.5", 3.5" or SSD drives for a total capacity of 36TB in a 2U rackmount
  5. TS-EC879U-RP - 8 x 2.5", 3.5" or SSD drives for a total capacity of 24TB in a 2U rackmount
  6. TS-EC1279U-RP - 12 x 2.5", 3.5" or SSD drives for a total capacity of 36TB in a 2U rackmount

These are some serious business machines packing Core i3 processors running at 3.3GHz in 1-4 and Quad Core Xeon's running at 3.1GHz in 5 & 6.

Optional 10G-Base T cards can be installed to allow up to 1,738MB/sec writes and 1,574MB/sec reads.
